SugarBomber

Chocolate Strawberry Ding Dong

It's hot and windy. There is a fire 90 miles away that is blowing smoke and ash in my direction. I'm tired and totally cooked something and don't feel like talking about it.

So let me tell you about something cool that I am now a part of. Last week, CitySearch launched an extension of their website called SugarBomber. If you want to find interesting (and cheap) desserts in your area...or just browse and be jealous of what other cities get to experience, check it out. I am one of their Dictators and I wrote about this chocolate strawberry ding dong from Lemonade and soon it will be posting to the site. If you like desserts and are interested in becoming a Dictator also, click here.

I'll be back tomorrow with a recipe post. I promise.

  5. I haven't been cooking anything new either this week, and I'm sort of enjoying the break. Maybe I'll make the effort this weekend, but for now I feel content. :)

  8. Esi, please tell me you will be taking care of yourself. Those wild fires in CA are serious. I will keep you in my thoughts dear one. As for that gorgeous dessert...a CHOCOLATE heart, well I sure would love one right about now. Have a wonderful (and safe) weekend my friend.

  9. Hey everyone! I am far from the fires, but unfortunately it looks like the winds and hot weather will be here another day. Hopefully the fire will be under control soon. I am going to try and find out what we can do to help those that have been displaced. Thanks for stopping by!

  12. I hate to say this, but I so miss that dry weather of cali. We aren't hot, but we are already humid as heck. Humidity kills.
Love the name sugarbomber, that's exactly what I want for an ice cream sundae, a sugar bomber full of fudge sauce!

  13. First time checking out your site! That Sugarbomber link is awesome! I'm an avid dessert photographer when I'm out dining, so the site would be a great forum for my photos and reviews. Though I'm not a tough critic, so every review would probably include lots of "Amazing!" and other such intensifiers! HA!

Us LA baker chics gotta stick together eh!

    ciao!
