Nutella was on sale at the grocery store last week. I went a little crazy and bought three jars. If I could I would eat Nutella and strawberries all day every day, but there are a million and five recipes using Nutella that I want to try. Leave me your favorites in the comments.
ha! i went a little crazy and bought 4 things of giant berries. can't resist this time of year. we don't get the good berries on cape cod, have to go all the way to whole foods to get them. i think i have a jar of nutella in the cupboard. i know you told me to try this, and i will. make a sundae out of it. yeah
ReplyDeleteHere's one I swiped from Giada De Laurentiis: Strawberry-Nutella Paninis...Spread Nutella on 2 slices of poundcake, top with sliced strawberries, then grill for about 5 minutes until the Nutella starts to melt. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteNutella is fantastic. My husband goes crazy for it. I just learned...however..it has more sugar in it than those containers of frosting you buy at the super market!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not into nutella. A friend of mine is. My gosh...he spreads thick layers of nutella on his toast! I'm just crazy over condensed milk.
ReplyDeleteand now I want Nutella!!!!
ReplyDeleteI already told you about this earlier: white bread, Nutella, Grany Smith apple and toasted walnut or pecan sandwich.
Of just with a spoon out of the jar.
This seems very very dangerous! I would make a quickbread out of them. Strawberry with nutella swirls. Or crepes. Or cakes. Or just take the strawberries and dip them in the nutella and eat them.
ReplyDeleteI love nutella and my favorite recipe is: just grab a spoon and eat it straight from the jar until your belly aches :D
ReplyDeletemy second favorite would be spreading it on crepes and topping it with some fresh strawberries :)
I love Nutella!! I love these brownies:

They are super easy too!
I love nutella smeared on the top of plain (warm) oatmeal muffins. I bet it would be awesome on the strawberry buttermilk oatmeal muffins I posted about too to continue the nutella/strawberry love...
ReplyDeleteO haha... three jars of nutella! I still have one in the cupboard so can't wait to see what you come up with it so I try it too... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions guys. I can't wait to come up with some delicious1
ReplyDeleteI love Nutella, actually we just got 2 pots of it at Costco, so will have it the way you featured...with strawberries :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Nutella Peanut Butter Sandwiches with sliced bananas and salt and pepper potato chips with a cold glass of milk. the smooth/crunchy sweet/salty combos are the best and the milk just tops it off. Can't have it very often, but it is the ultimate comfort food for me! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try this recipe forever: http://www.singforyoursupperblog.com/2010/05/05/blow-your-mind-brownie-nutella-mousse-pie/
ReplyDeleteChocolate, strawberries and hazelnut...whats not to love :)
ReplyDeleteI do love nutella fondue! You can use one nutella's jar, the same measure of whipped cream, a tablespoon of brandy. Heat the whipped cream, add nutella and brandy. Serve with...strawberries!
ReplyDeletejust put your finger in it and then ...
ReplyDeleteyum!
Ha ha, I eat it off a spoon, with a bit of peanut butter on it as well. Or I've had an Italian doughnut (I think it's called a bomboloni) with Nutella filling. When served warm, you bite into it and the Nutella oozes out. Ooohh. (Never tried to make it at home though)
ReplyDeleteSpread it on toast with Trader Joe's Almond Butter with Toasted Flax Seeds. It is no bargain in fat or calories, but is pure ecstasy together!
ReplyDeleteMe? I 'll spread it on grilled bananas...OMG!GOODNESS~ or...scoop some ice cream and swirl in nutella..
ReplyDeleteFound this wonderful recipe a couple weeks ago, this pie is fantastic! Besides the nutella there isn't a whole lot of added sugar either and the tofu gives it the perfect smooth pudding texture.

YUM! I am a self proclaimed Nutella-holic! Just love it! One of my recent favorite Nutella recipes is Nutella Hazelnut Caramel Ooey Gooey Brownies! http://www.bellalimento.com/2010/03/14/nutella-caramel-hazelnut-brownies/
ReplyDeleteBut my favorite way changes constantly ; )
to replenish my stock :)
ReplyDeletenutella: on a spoon. yum
ReplyDeleteHere's my favorite Nutella recipe. It's a little complicated, but I think you can handle it.
ReplyDeleteBuy Nutella.
Open Nutella.
Get a spoon.
Enjoy!
But really - I also like it on pretzels, baguette and I bet it'd be damn good on oatmeal!
Instead of contributing, I'm merely piping up to say I've never had strawberries with nutella, but man oh man. Sounds like a "dessert" I could tackle, easy. :)
ReplyDeleteI made brownie bottomed nutella cheesecake bars for my birthday this year...omg to die for!!
